About our products

Every GoodGirlCode piece is hand-dyed, hand-painted, or hand-finished.

Variations in colour, print placement, and detail between pieces, and between a piece and its photographs, are a natural feature of hand-craft, not a defect.

Product images are as accurate as photography allows, but colours may display differently on different screens.

Many pieces are made in limited quantities or as one of a kind. Listing a product on the site is an invitation to purchase, not a guarantee of availability.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email. This acknowledges your order but doesn't yet form a contract; the contract is complete when we dispatch your items. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example where an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred, in which case you'll be refunded in full.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment providers. We take reasonable care to keep prices accurate; where a genuine error is discovered, we'll contact you before proceeding.

Delivery

Delivery options, timeframes, and charges are set out on our Delivery page. Estimated timeframes are given in good faith but aren't guaranteed, and delays caused by carriers or customs are outside our control. International orders may attract customs duties and import taxes, which are your responsibility. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

Returns and cancellations

Our returns process is set out on our Returns page. As a UK consumer, you also have a statutory right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. This right doesn't apply to items made to your specification or personalised for you. To cancel, follow the returns process or contact us at goodgirlcode@gmail.com. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site, including our prints, designs, photography, brand name, and written content, belongs to GoodGirlCode or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it commercially without our written consent. Our prints and designs are original works; reproducing them, in fabric or otherwise, is an infringement we take seriously.

Use of the site

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that breaks the law. We may suspend or withdraw the site, or any part of it, at any time.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires products to be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. Beyond that, we're responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms, and not for losses that aren't foreseeable or arise from events outside our reasonable control.

General

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
